Janet Reno attended the Grammy's the other night to peddle her wares (?), a CD compilation of songs celebrating American history to debut in 2006. She's teaming up with an award-winning producer to put together 50 tracks documenting the music history of the United States, from 1620 through the present.
Reno said she got the idea from her folk-singer nephew and from the hundreds of teenagers she invited into her basement for dance parties in the late 1990's.
The first track on the album will, of course, be The Knack's My Sharona.
