The Self-Destruction of the Democratic Party

...via the Daily Kos.

If you're a Democrat or a liberal you should be worried. No, not because 51% of American voters would "definitely" not vote for Hillary, but because the Democratic party is self-destructing before our eyes.

Our friend Kos tossed up quite a riot today - all about how angry he is at his fellow Democrats. Included in his rant are the Democratic Senators that Kos hates. He counts nine and he states "S*&# on them if you want, but would you rather the count be 43 or 34 [Democrats in the Senate]?" Kos goes on to whine and name other Democratic hopefuls that he believes should replace Democrats currently in office. If you're not quite liberal enough (or if you don't support Harry Reid) you may as well resign according to Kos.

Now you may think that Kos is out of his mind. The opposition party can't afford to devour itself with the elections coming up. As we saw from Republicans years ago, the only way for the opposition to gain control is for it to provide a beneficial alternative to the status quo.

You may also think that Kos is outside of the Democratic mainstream. Laughably enough, John "Filibuster" Kerry has recently begun posting at the Daily Kos. It appears that the Democrats have learned nothing after years of being out of power.

It's almost sad, even if you dislike liberals. The behavior of ignorant liberal megaphones like Kos reminds me of a quote by one of the only presidents to be impeached - besides Bill Clinton - Andrew Johnson:

It is true I am asked why don't I join the Democratic party. Why don't they join me?

The Democrats are beginning to join those like Kos - and it is spelling disaster.
