Al Gore: hypocrite

I'm sure that many of you have heard already about what is being called Al Gore's own "inconvenient truth." It appears the former Vice President and global waring alarmist extraordinare isn't too concerned about his own "carbon footprint." Gore, rather than drastically change his lifestyle as he asks the rest of us to do, sill lives between his one 4,000 square foot house in Virgina and his other 10,000 square foot house in Tennessee. Al Gore's 10,000 square foot mansion uses 20 times the energy of the average house in the U.S., and Gore spends over $1,300 per month on energy.

Al Gore claims he offsets this by purchasing "carbon offsets," which are clearly only available to the independently wealthy.

Gore refuses to change his own lifestyle, but rather uses his money to "offset" his own fantastic energy usage.

Also, it's more than a bit strange that source of the Left's energy-derision has one of the most energy efficient houses in the country - using solar and geothermal power and recycling waste water. Who's house? Georoge W. Bush's Crawford ranch.
