Powerline exposes the ill-covered in the media story concerning one Sami al-Arian, a convicted terrorist with links to Palestinian Jihad. One of al-Arian's most ardent supporters has been the ever influential Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR. One could describe CAIR as a mainstream Muslim-American organization, or as it really is, a front group for a variety of terrorist organizations. CAIR claims to be a moderate Muslim organization, but in reality it sides with convicted terrorists.
This whole incident begs the question - where are the moderate Muslims?
