Cold temperatures ends "global warming" expedition

Two climate researchers who had planned a trek across the North Pole had to call it quits due to frostbite and unexpected cold temperatures damaging their equipment.

Atwood [one of the expedition's organizers] said there was some irony that a trip to call attention to global warming was scuttled in part by extreme cold temperatures.

"They were experiencing temperatures that weren't expected with global warming," Atwood said. "But one of the things we see with global warming is unpredictability."

That's right - everything is a result of "global warming."
