Today Fox News reports that Mark Rich, the fugitive who illegally sold oil to Iran in the 80's and evaded federal taxes before being pardoned by president Clinton in his last day in office after his wife gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to Bill's campaign, admitted to being a part of the corrupt UN Oil-for-Food Program as an authorized buyer and seller of oil. His company denied any connection of his to the UN program, but now Rich confirmed his status through a statement to the House Internal Relations Committee. With people like this buying and selling Iraqi oil, how could the program have been corrupted?
