It's about Italian intelligence agencies breaking up a terrorist cell in Italy that was determined to attack the US in a manner that would surpass the 9/11 attacks. A few blogs have faithfully reported on the media's complete and utter silence in regards to this story. I mean, what's the big deal?
Oh, wait! Here it is - it turns out that the Italians found out about the terror plot through phone and wire taps. God forbid we allow Americans to see the good that can come from these reasonable measures.
