Alito's wife left the confirmation hearing in tears today. How much is one person supposed to take when three or four of the committee's Democratic Senators' entire premise is to brand her husband as a racist? Is this what these hearings have come to? It's like 10 hours a day of trying to make an individual looks as bad as possible for absolutely no benefit whatsoever. There were hardly any questions today; just attempts to vilify the newest Supreme Court justice.
