New York Times Non-Story of the [insert period of time here]

The Times prints another worthless "story." On Sunday they printed an article about how sad Democrats are about Bush appointing lots of judges. The Times even had a graphic that shows that *sob* 55% of federal judges have been appointed by Republican Presidents.

This would be a story if the numbers aren't what they are. Over the past 40 years Democrats have held the office of the President for only 12 years.

In retrospect is it really a story to say that most of the judges appointed have been sent to the bench by Republicans? It's actually more of a story that there haven't been more appointed by Republicans!

Democrats have really started to whine about Bush's appointments. Lucky for them, the Times article included a piece of advice from one particularly savvy Democrat:

"George Bush won the election," said Representative Rahm Emanuel, an Illinois Democrat. "If you don't like it, you better win elections."

How true.
