Yes, today is February 2 and that means it's Groundhog's Day! Punxsatawney Phil saw his shadow today, and that means six more weeks of winter.
However, you can never underestimate 1)the ridiculousness of "global warming"-obsessed climatologists and 2) their ability to turn anything into an example of the "global warming" crisis:
Sadly, it appears that global warming may soon add Phil to the ranks of the unemployed. With the warming of 4-8ºC (7-14ºF) predicted over North America by the end of this century if we continue to increase greenhouse gas concentrations at current rates, the answer will become simple. Spring will come early every year.
Hehe! So with worldwide temperature change at a whopping +1 degree F over the past 150 years, the temperatures are going to go up 8 times this amount in the next hundred years? Unlikely.
This particular site likes to pass on the bizarre groupthink premise that because this winter has been warm nationwide this winter is an example of "global warming." Funny, it's been raining alot in Ohio, does that mean we have a "global wetting" trend?
Of course, websites like this exist on little to no facts about global climate as it is now. Europe is experiencing one of the coldest winters in history. Shouldn't that come into play into this argument sooner or later? No, because it contradicts their simplistic and childish reasoning.
