It's Not Too Hard to Figure Out

Why is it that newspaper editors are being fired, KFC's, McDonald's, and western embassies in the east are being attacked, and student journalists are being removed from their positions for printing Mohammed cartoons?

And why is it that the American media spinelessly refuses to print such cartoons when they are so willing to print more pictures of Arabs being tortured in Abu Ghraib?

And why is it that the much more violent and terrible pictures of prison torture are eliciting little to no Muslim outrage? Should we wait four months after these pictures are broadcast to see the Muslim outrage?

Why is it the answer to all these questions are so simple and yet no one asks them?
