I forget, who supports greater freedom of speech?
Coulter made this hilarious aside in a column (and maybe speech, according to Rall):
Indeed, in response to the Muhammad cartoons, one Iranian newspaper is soliciting cartoons about the Holocaust. (So far the only submissions have come from Ted Rall, Garry Trudeau and The New York Times.)
It's funny even though it may not be technically true. Rall claims he hasn't submitted an entry (the fact that the joke is so plausible that he issues a public denial makes it even more hilarious).
By the way: Rall has no problem with his own work going well over what any reasonable person would conclude is technically true (as anyone who's read his work in the Toons on campus can attest) 1 2 3 4 5
Like a good liberal, Rall probably won't be happy until an unelected court mandates the government must form a panel to authorize any opinion column before it can be published. That's the logical conclusion to his silly lawsuit with Ann Coulter; I just hope he doesn't sue me for writing this...
