Every once and awhile it comes out. It's not that they want it to come out, it just passes that point of no return when someone is so angry or upset that they toss out in a few sentences what they have been previously trying so hard to hide.
1) Bryant Gumble. This one's a winner - he says that he "doesn't like" the winter Olympic Games and the lack of black athletes makes them "look like a GOP convention." I forgot that because I'm a conservative I'm also a racist - dang it!
2) CNN. Commentator Jack Caffety, when responding to Cheney giving an exclusive interview to FoxNews about his recent hunting mishap labeled the exchange between Brit Hume and Cheney as "a little bit like Bonnie interviewing Clyde. ... I mean, running over there to the Fox network -- talk about seeking a safe haven." People might make the connection that Mr. Caffety is making a reference to Fox's conservative bias. I would argue that the Bonnie and Clyde reference alludes to FoxNews being complicit with the administration in some kind of a crime. What crime? Who knows. Of course, Cheney appeared on Fox for one reason - ratings. As Brit said last night, he told a report that Cheney chose Fox because the Vice President was interested in reaching as many people as possible. He was correct in that his quote will never be repeated.
