Itty Bitty Question...

VP Cheney went through the wringer for the huntign accident, ostensibly for the delay between the accident and the press release. But when a drunken Kennedy (son of Chappaquiddick Ted) crashes his car into a US Capitol complex security barrier, barely missing a police officer, the story leaks late the next afternoon and there's no mention of a "cover-up." Oh, and Patrick Kennedy is claiming that he wasn't drinking, thatit was sleeping pills--although the police officers thought he was impaired by alcohol and the bartenders at his favorite bar say he was there earlier in the evening (Hawk&Dove has $1 wings on Wednesday, who could miss that?). And when he crashed his car at 2:45 am, he tried to tell the officers he was late for voting, although the chamber closed before midnight...

Will this story make as many waves as Cheney's gun accident (that was clearly more of an accident than this criminal recklessness, by the way)?
