How many times has it been now? CNN is now broadcasting terrorist death porn, also known as footage of terrorist snipers killing American troops. The chairman of the House Armed Services committee, Duncan Hunter, is now calling for the Pentagon to withdrawal all embedded CNN reporters.
Good idea.
The LA Times covers the story from within the same mindset:
Embedded reporters sign pledges not to show the faces of dead American troops until their families are notified, but nothing prohibits the use of pictures in which identities are not discernible.
And nothing prevents reporters from taking sides in a war - which neither CNN or the LA Times seems willing to do.
