The First 100 Hours

The Democrat's pre-legislative implosion is quickly being surpassed by their 100-hour implosion. The Congress, while allowing American Samoa to not have to pay the new minimum wage, was also known last week for rejecting ethics reform - which was supposed to be the hallmark of the new corruption-plagued Democratic congress. Pelosi's tough ethics bill that passed in the House was blocked by Harry Reid in the Senate, obviously too concerned with his own private earmarks and corporate bounty that he didn't realize or care that he forced the Senate to reject a bill supported by the leadership in the House.

Don't get me wrong - it's not that I don't want the 110th Congress to accomplish anything, but I do enjoy a bit of Democratic disaster when I see it - not to mention the telling absence of attention it's getting in the old media.
